Pittsworth SES Are Recruiting

Pittsworth SES volunteers need your help to respond to incidents in your community. Have YOU considered joining the State Emergency Service?

Some of the roles that SES volunteers undertake are:

 Flood boat operations (Search & Rescue, resupply and evacuations)

 Storm Damage response (Temporary repairs to residences)

 Chainsaw operations

 First Aid and Welfare

 Community Engagement/Education

 Road Crash Rescue (not all groups)

SES volunteers support other agencies and services such as Rural Fire Service, QLD Ambulance Service, and QLD Police Service, in roles such as:

 Air Base Operations

 Casualty Handling

 Emergency Operations Centre

 Communications

 Search and Rescue

 Forensic/Crime scene Searches

You don’t need to have these skills already; all training is provided by the organisation to ensure that our volunteers have the appropriate training to safely and effectively respond to incidents within their communities.
